The anti-migrant demonstration was held in the Serbian capital city of Belgrade on Sunday, amid fears of a migrant surge.
People were seen holding Serbian and Greek flags, with some voicing concern about their safety.
"We, the citizens of Serbia, are not safe anymore. I expect from my country to respect the constitution, to respect its own citizens first, citizens of Serbia. The state should protect us, its own citizens instead of protecting the foreign citizens," said Aleksandra, one of the protesters.
The protest started in front of the government building and from there people marched to the areas populated by migrants.
Large numbers of migrants have been heading towards Turkey's European borders since last week after country's President Recep Tayyip Erdogan announced that Turkish authorities would no longer stop migrants from trying to enter the EU.
European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen has announced a €700 million ($779 million) aid package to help Greece deal with the large-scale influx of migrants after Erdogan effectively opened the borders.
